Our office at 435 Nepean Highway, Frankston, sits at the northern edge of the Mornington Peninsula, a short drive from Mount Eliza and Mornington and within easy reach of the towns further south.

Getting to our office from the Peninsula
Our office is at 435 Nepean Highway, Frankston. Travel times below are approximate and depend on traffic.
- Mount Eliza and Mornington: usually 10 to 15 minutes by car via the Nepean Highway or the Moorooduc Highway.
- Mount Martha, Safety Beach, Dromana and Rosebud: about 20 to 30 minutes via Peninsula Link and the Mornington Peninsula Freeway.
- Rye, Sorrento and Portsea: about 40 to 45 minutes.
- Hastings, Somerville and the Western Port side: about 20 minutes via the Frankston-Flinders Road.
- Parking: Wilson Parking at 453 Nepean Highway, street parking on the Nepean Highway, and the car parks at McDonald’s across the road and at Dan Murphy’s. Check the signs for time limits.
Pensions and property overseas
Overseas pension authorities regularly ask pensioners living in Australia to confirm that they are alive and still entitled to payments. Each authority has its own form and its own rules about who may certify it, so check the instructions that came with the form.
- Life certificates and declarations: we witness your signature and complete the certification the form asks for.
- Polish pensions: ZUS asks pensioners living abroad to send a declaration of continuing entitlement each calendar year, and allows the signature to be certified by an authorised person in the country where they live.
- Powers of attorney for property: prepared or signed to the requirements of the country where the property is. If the overseas lawyer or notary has sent you a form, bring it with you unsigned.
- Deadlines: if a pension payment has been suspended, or a sale overseas has a settlement date, tell us when you first contact us.

No. All notarial appointments take place at our office at 435 Nepean Highway, Frankston, usually 10 to 15 minutes from Mornington and Mount Eliza.
Usually, yes. Many pension authorities accept certification by a notary public. Check the instructions that came with the form, then bring it unsigned, with your passport and any letter that came with it.
We do not make home visits for notarial work. Documents for use overseas must be signed in the notary’s presence and certified copies made from originals, so appointments take place at our Frankston office. If you cannot travel, ask the overseas authority whether it accepts another form of certification.
DFAT sets its own processing times, which lengthen in busy periods such as the end of the year. Allow extra time if the document has a deadline overseas, and tell us about it when you first contact us.
